I haven't bought potatoes from the Marikina Market recently, so I don't know how much there are now. But given the typhoons (which cause vegetable prices to go up), I wouldn't be surprised if they cost more than P28/kilo now. Even here in NZ, veggies are getting pricey but I chose to buy every 2 or 3 days to eat them as fresh as possible. I've yet to see how that will drastically change our budget but I'm hoping it would save us a lot of money now that we're eating less meat. I will post on that.
