I was just trying to put "working pinoy" into Microsoft's beta search engine Bing when I saw your site on the list. I'm glad to discover that you've been a freelance writer for a long time already. I've just started freelancing last November when we were seeing signs that our U.S.-based firm couldn't survive the recession. Your $5 minimum per article in 2008 is a high for me even in 2009, as I'm still a beginner. I've subcontracted at just $2.7 per 400-word article, but it helps me pay the bills. I've been researching other writing gigs, but I'm taking it slow because when I try to google the writing site which seems to be initially okay, together with 'scam,' I'd see many complaints that they're not getting paid, or they're just paid at the start.
